INFORMATION

Where will my session be?

I shoot on location. The location can be any place of your choosing, whether it be at your home, your favorite park, or somewhere sentimental {first date location, or where you got engaged}. I will go anywhere! If you are looking for ideas, I will work with you to find a location that will suit your personal style- it could be anything from a downtown urban location to a country field!

How long does a session last?

1-2 hours {a bit more for newborns}

What should we wear for our session?

Whatever you want! I want your photos to be a reflection of your personal style. My only advice is that dark wash jeans are always flattering & lots of heavy logos or striping can be a distracting element in a photograph. Different colors {aim for a base of 3 different colors}, textures, patterns, and layers of clothes will bring lots of fabulous visual interest to your photographs. Feel free to bring changes of clothes so we can switch up your look and give your session some diversity. A couple changes of clothes is always a good idea for children or baby photographs for those inevitable messes as well.

What should we bring to our session?

Some fun suggestions: sunglasses, scarfs, dogs, umbrellas, poster boards with your name, wedding date, or "thank you" written, flowers, balloons, hats, giant lolipops, tutus, vintage toys or wagons. Anything fun or meaningful you can think of to personalize and make your session fun and unique!

What are your current promotions?

If you have a photo session or wedding with me and you have 50 or more different people comment on {not like} any of your photographs I post on facebook, you will receive $25 off your next session or an 8x10 print!

If you refer a photo session or wedding to Ashley Erickson Photography you will get $50 toward your next session!

Do you charge a travel fee?

Yes, there is a travel fee of .50 per mile (round trip) for any photo session or wedding outside of a 45 mile radius from Duluth, MN.

Do you bring back up equipment?

Yes! I bring at least two of everything to ensure no moments of your big day are missed due to the possibility of equipment failure.

What type of equipment do you use?

I use professional Nikon gear and accessories.

How do I book a wedding with you?

I prefer to meet my bride and grooms in person to go over the wedding day logistics, to get a feel for your likes/dislikes and personal style. A $300.00 non-refundable deposit is due to save your date {along with a signed wedding photography contract} the remaining balance will be due 3 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Do you include black and white images?

Yes!

What if we loose/damage our image disk?

I keep hard copies of your sessions on disk for one year- just contact me during that time and I will send you out a new one! I highly, highly recommend that once you receive your DVD of images to make several copies right away!
